Science Action Club - FULL

Wednesdays, March 15th, 22nd, 29th
 4:00-5:00pm  Community Room

  • Become a Citizen Scientist by exploring our local environment and the bugs that live there.
  • Kids aged 9-12
  • Will meet weekly on Wednesdays for 12 weeks from  March 8th -May 24th

READ to a Dog

Saturday, April 1st
10:30-11:30am Story Tower

  • Each reader will a chance to read to one dog
  • All children who are readers are welcome
  • Registration is the day of the program at the Children's Desk!

Make and Take Spring Craft

Monday, April 3rd

3:00-4:45 pm Craft Corner

  • All children welcome
  • Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult
  • No registration required

Tween Tech Saturday

Saturday, April 8th
10:00 am -Noon TECH Lab

  • 9-12 year olds
  • Come hang out in the TECH Lab and try the amazing technology
  • 3D Printer, Hummingbird, Drones and so much more!
  • No registration required

Author Visit - Jack Day

Saturday, April 8th
11:00 am Story Tower

  • Discover the wonder of Yellowstone National Park  and the mischief three bears cause Gramma and Grampa.
  • Jack Day, the author of "Gramma, Grampa the the Three Bear" will be reading and talking about his books.

Junior Science Club - Seed Bombs

4:00-5:00 pm Community Room

  • 6-8 year olds and their grownups
  • What is a seed bomb?
  • Join the Master Gardeners as they help us get down and dirty with this fun project.
  • All creations will be taken home
  • Registration is a must- call 657-8256 or stop the children's desk to register

Tween Black Out Poetry

Thursday, April 20th
4:00- 5:00 pm 2nd Floor Conference Room

  • 9-12 year olds
  • Create art and poetry using old books and markers!

Froggy Visits the Library

Saturday, April 22nd 11:00 am Community Room

  • Celebrate "The Week of the Young Child" with a special program featuring the costumed character "Froggy"
  • A special guest will be here reading stories.
  • There will a fun craft and free books will be given out to children in attendance.
  • This special event is being sponsored by Billings Chapter of the Montana Association of Young Children.
