  1. Local Government Seminar - Session 2

    The League of Women Voters of Billings and BPL present a series of evening courses on how city government works and how residents can get more involved. Session 2 is on July 17 at 5:30 and is entitled: Getting Involved in Local Government - What are the rules? Featured presenters and topics are:

    -- Nicole Cromwell, City Zoning Coordinator will talk about the planning process and Project ReCode.

    -- City Council communications and responsibilities.

    Join Yellowstone Public Radio at the Tech Lab to learn how to make your very own audio story. Participants will be encouraged to work in groups or on their own to follow their curiosity, ask questions big and small, and produce an audio story by the end of the week. Yellowstone Public Radio staff will teach participants the basics of story selection, interviewing, audio recording and editing, and finding their radio voice. ***Limit 12 participants.
