Library Express Lockers


With our Library Express Lockers you can place holds online or over the phone and then pick them up at your convenience, 24/7!

In order to use the Lockers, all you need to do is request your desired materials be placed on hold in a Locker by choosing either Billings Downtown 24/7 Locker, Billings Heights 24/7 Locker, Billings Lockwood 24/7 Locker, or Billings West End 24/7 Locker. Then pick them up any time of the day using your Library card and PIN number. Items will be available for pickup for 7 days after being placed into the lockers. Materials may be placed on hold by using the catalog.

  

Billings Public Library Named 2025 Library of the Year

The Montana Library Association has honored Billings Public Library as the 2025 Library of the Year, recognizing the outstanding impact of our Library Express Locker program. This innovative service has significantly expanded access to library materials throughout Billings and Yellowstone County.

The success of the Library Express Lockers is a testament to the commitment of our dedicated staff and the invaluable support of our community partners.
