Preserve your memories in the BPL Memory Lab! The BPL Memory Lab is available by appointment and can be used to convert many different types of media such as film negatives and cassette tapes to easy to play and store media such as jpg and mp4 files. The Lab hours are 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday - Friday and 9:00 am - 3:00 pm on Saturday. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance of the desired time, and must begin before 5:00 pm on weekdays or 3:00 pm on Saturdays. Requests submitted on Saturday/Sunday or holidays will be addressed the next business day. To reserve the room, click here.

What's in the lab?
The CZUR Scanner can be used to scan single documents as well as bulkier items such as books.
This scanner can be used in the traditional way, to scan a single document, the hood can be removed to scan a bulky item, like a book, but it's best at scanning slides and film negatives, turning them into high-resolution images.
